The Best “Healthy”Chocolate Chip Protein Bars

The Best “Healthy” Chocolate Chip Protein Bars

This week I experimented with one of the products that Bob’s Red Mill sent me to play around with.  Its Whole Wheat Pastry Flour…..  and I have never really used it.

I love their products and I mostly use all the “gluten-free” flours.  But even though this pastry flour isn’t gluten free, its still super healthy and I combined it with oatmeal and these bars came out pretty good.

I have to say that I do eat gluten-free for the most part, and so does my family.

And though none of us have Celiac Disease, I choose to feed us gluten-free because gluten is one of those foods that is extremely inflammatory.

Don’t Eat These Foods

It’s actually one of the foods on THIS LIST which I compiled of the 5 foods that could be sabotaging your results.

Inflammation in the digestive track makes it incredibly hard if not impossible to burn fat. So in order to be able to burn fat so you can lose weight effectively, its crucial that you take these foods out of your diet.

This is so important and makes such a huge impact on your results that I decided to compile these foods into a PDF for you.

So go to the following link where you can download this information for FREE.  I also added a list of 5 Foods that are NECESSARY for you to include in your diet if you want to LOSE WEIGHT and GET TONED.

Foods that you should eat daily!

I also took the liberty to share with you a short video of my favorite 5 ABS EXERCISES, since I get questions all the time now about how I got ABS after 2 babies.  So these are some of the ones that have gotten me ABS after having 2 kids (daughter is 15 months) and I never had them before.

Here is the link so you can download the PDF and get the VIDEO.  Start applying it right now.  Take those 5 foods out of your KITCHEN immediately!  LINK TO PDF & VIDEO

So, I did make these bars with Pastry Flour, which is not gluten-free because there are still tons of people who don’t eat gluten-free and also because I wanted to play around with it.

Gluten-Free Modification

But if you would like to make these Gluten-Free, use 1/2 cup of coconut flour and 1/2 cup almond meal instead of the 1 cup of pastry flour.  This makes them just as yummy!

You can actually make these with whatever “toppings” you want. I used chocolate chips because you know me and chocolate, but you can use fresh berries, freeze dried fruit, carob chips, coconut, almonds, walnuts, etc.

I will save these for the weekend so that I can have something “healthy” to splurge on when I am having a “craving” or wanting something sweet.

By the way, if you get lots of cravings and you feel like you do a lot of “emotional eating”, you gotta read this on HOW TO STOP EMOTIONAL EATING.

Being prepared is half the battle.

If you can have healthy snacks prepared all the time, you will not have half the cravings you do now.

That is what is so great about having healthy snacks like this pre-made.

It really helps you eat so much cleaner and less calories.  Because instead of indulging in a large piece of cookie cake with tons of calories, you can eat a piece of this chocolate chip bar and feel like you had just as good of a treat.

Remember what I always say………  “Being PREPARED is the key to getting RESULTS”.
