Recipe For The Best & Easisest Broccoli Ever
I’ve talked about vegetables before, and how important it is to eat them. Not only because of all the vitamins and minerals you get from them, but also because of the thermic effect they have. ………. When you eat vegetables, you burn a ton of calories.
Yeahhhh! Isn’t that awesome? You can burn calories by eating!
The thing is that most people don’t like vegetables, or “don’t know they like vegetables”.
Most people don’t know how to prepare them so that they actually taste great.
And I get it! Its a pain sometimes to cook vegetables every day. Its a lot easier to just throw some rice and chicken on a plate. But then you aren’t getting all the benefits from eating.
So here is what you do!
You make all your vegetables on 2 days. That’s what I do. I make a ton of vegetables on Mondays and then I cook again on Wednesday or Thursday. One of my favorites is my Garlicky Squash & Zucchini. Today I am sharing with you one of my other favorite vegetable dishes. Actually, my hubby requested this for Valentines Day. How about them apples? LOL
Check it out, yes, thats a sippy cup there….. Real romantic, with our 3 year old! Its ok, we enjoyed it anyways. And we also enjoyed having some steak along with the broccoli mid week 🙂
It takes about 15 minutes to make and I usually make about 3 bouquets of broccoli at a time so that it lasts me for a few meals. I tend to spice them up for different meals with other ingredients, just to switch it up.
If you add a few spices, herbs, nuts, drizzles, it can completely change the taste.

Recipe For The Best & Easisest Broccoli Ever
Ingredients
- 1 bouquet of broccoli, chopped into big chunks
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/4 cup sliced almonds, toasted
- s&p to taste
- sprinkle of Parmesan cheese
- Juice of 1 lemon
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 425 degrees.
- Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and place the broccoli on it and sprinkle it with s&p to taste and the fresh garlic.
- Bake of 15 minutes.
- Then take it out, sprinkle with almonds and parmesan cheese.
- Bake for another 2-3 minutes or until the almonds are browned a bit and the cheese has melted.
- When you take it out of the oven, drizzle the juice of the lemon all over it.
- Serve immediately.
I hope you try this. I think you will surprise yourself. It really is so good. And you can’t use time as an excuse because the prep time is like 3 minutes.
If you invest some time into searching for some healthy recipes and actually making them. You will see how you will start to enjoy eating healthy. And when you can truly enjoy eating healthy, you will get much better results and you will be able to maintain them. Instead of yo-yo dieting.
