Nothing says FALL like pumpkin anything….
If you know me at all, you know I am obsessed with all things pumpkin.
Which is why, though Fall is a fun time of year to enjoy pumpkin, I tend to have it all year long lol.
For example, this Pumpkin Smoothie, which is to die for.
And luckily you can find the ingredients all year long as well.
So I hope you enjoy this mouth watering, creamy, delicious smoothie.

You will notice that in all the recipes above and in the pumpkin smoothie recipe I’m about to give you, I add mPower Protein Powder.
I do so because when you add protein to anything, especially a sugar, when you digest it, your body takes like an average glycemic index so you don’t have such a sugar spike.
When you have high blood sugar, its hard to burn fat effectively, so adding protein helps reduce that sugar spike.
Protein also helps you feel fuller longer, so these snacks and smoothie will satisfy you and hold you over to the next meal.
Pumpkin protein pancakes are also another great option for snacks. Check out this post for the recipe.
Protein also helps you reduce the hunger hormone, ghrelin.
Winner winner, chicken dinner.
Now you know why I add mPower to EVERYTHING.
And its an added bonus that it also has a medical grade multivitamin in it.
So if you make this pumpkin smoothie recipe, you will also be drinking your vitamins for the day.
Woot woot 🙂
If you haven’t tried mPower before… you are not living, girlfriend!
It is insanely good.
I mean… just check out a few of the reviews…
Back to the smoothie 🙂
This protein smoothie is so yummy and filling.
I hate when I drink a shake or smoothie and I’m hungry again in 20 minutes.
That doesn’t happen with this pumpkin smoothie.
And its to die for… seriously… you are going to be craving it!
Here is the recipe so you can pin it, or print it and I will also post a video I did making the smoothie and giving some tips on how to make it.Print
~10-12 ounces almond milk
1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp maple extract (game changer) (you can find it on amazon)
1/2 cup pumpkin puree
2 scoops mPower Protein Powder
1/2 banana (frozen is best)
In a blender add the milk and the rest of the ingredients and blend until smooth.
If you like it more liquidy than creamy, add a little more milk or water.
If you like it frothier, add a little bit of ice.
If you don’t use frozen banana, add a little ice.
Here is the video if you want to watch me make it and give tips while I do so.
Hope you enjoy it!
