I always say it…
Damned if you do and damned if you don’t.
The reality is, my prego friend….
Unfortunately, people will judge you and me no matter what we do.
But what I don’t want to happen is that you allow haters, and judge-mental women to affect you this pregnancy.
There’s so much judgement on pregnant women, especially when it comes to pregnancy weight gain and self care.
- There’s judging if you don’t take care of yourself and gain a lot of weight and are “unhealthy”.
- And there’s judgement if you choose to take care of yourself and focus too much on health and fitness while pregnant.
I wish all women could just respect and support each other.
But today, I want to talk to those of you who are either being judged by others or even those that feel guilty for caring “too much” about how they look, their weight gain, their body, etc.
I decided to talk about this because I can’t tell you how many emails I get a week of pregnant women telling me how stressed they are about their changing body and the stories of people making them feel terrible for it or even just as I said…. putting guilt on themselves.
I am here to tell you that IT IS OK.
I know you are a good mother.
I know you want a healthy baby.
And just because you were concerned about your weight gain or about your body does not make you any less concerned about a healthy and happy baby.
I get you.
It’s time to let go of the guilt and shame and stop caring what others say because as I said above, they are judging you no matter what you do.
So you do YOU!

No one is talking about this and its something that affects us all during pregnancy.
So let’s talk about it.
Let’s find a way to embrace it and not let it put shame and guilt on us and let me help you find a way to make it actually SERVE & HELP YOU.
