Pregnancy Fashion Tips – Look Sexy While Pregnant

I always tell women, that the trick to having an awesome pregnancy is to EMBRACE it!

Yes, embrace it and everything that comes with it…. the big belly, the dark nipples, the calf cramps, the widened hips, the bigger feet.…  If you do, you will enjoy it so much more.

But another thing that will help is what you wear.  YES, my pregnant friend, pregnancy fashion is crucial for how good, confident and even SEXY you can feel during pregnancy.

I have to say that I felt great being pregnant and believe it or not, my hubby thought I was sexy.

But so many women are so mad that the body changes so much that they sort of say “screw it” and are just miserable.  So they complain all the time, cranky all the time, and dress in big puffy clothes..… Which only makes you feel worse.

It sounds super vain, I know, but seriously, if you can do anything at all to help yourself feel a little better during these changes, why wouldn’t you?

I’m telling you, if you feel confident and good about yourself you will have an amazing pregnancy.  Trust me, I know this for a fact because I have worked with thousands and thousands of pregnant women who do my Pregnancy Workouts.  Especially those who are having their second and third babies and have something to compare it to.

And I mean, of course that these women are exercising so they do gain way less weight and are in better moods and less aches and pains because they are exercising, but they all say that dressing cute makes them feel better.

I also want to encourage you to make healthy choices when eating.

I know you are probably a little frustrated like most pregnant women, because your OB hasn’t educated you much on Pregnancy Nutrition.

It’s actually quite frustrating for me…

Aside from giving you a list of foods you should NOT eat, and weighing you in every week, that is pretty much it.  And it’s insane because what you eat doesn’t just affect YOU!   It affects the baby as well.

Its very easy to say “you have to slow down with your weight gain”, but not give you any tools or resources to help you.

But you have to control what you eat and not use this pregnancy as an excuse to “Eat For 2”.  I mean you don’t by any means have to diet.  I certainly didn’t and I did allow myself some splurges.  I would eat a bagel a week which I normally don’t when I’m not pregnant, I usually stick to oatmeal which I love.  But you just have to make GOOD CHOICES.  You should want to anyways because everything you are eating now is affecting your little baby.  So make good choices girlfriend.

So here is what I’m going to do for you.  I’m going to give you a NUTRITION GUIDE with exactly what to eat, all the RECIPES, good SNACK OPTIONS, etc.  So that you can get an idea of how you should be eating during your pregnancy so that you can be healthy, be creating the best possible environment for your baby, and so that you don’t gain EXCESS WEIGHT so that you are not super uncomfortable all during pregnancy and feeling huge and self conscious.  And so that you can lose all your baby weight fast postpartum.

I made this 2-Week Nutrition Guide to give away for FREE to all my pregos because I work with so many in my Fit Mom-To-Be Workout Program that always have so many NUTRITION questions.  So, I figured I would make this in an easy to read, print and follow way to help you take the guesses out of how to eat optimally during your pregnancy.

If you follow it and you EXERCISE, you will not just have a great pregnancy but you will feel CONFIDENT, RADIENT, GLOWING.  You won’t be uncomfortable and have aches and pains because you’ve gained so much weight.  You will have an easier labor and delivery.  You will sleep better, have more energy.  And you will seriously decrease your chances of falling into POSTPARTUM DEPRESSION.

If you exercise moderately and safely, you will be able to lose your weight super fast postpartum.  I did!

I did My Fit Mom-To-Be Workouts from the moment I found out I was pregnant until the day before I went into labor and I felt amazing, only gained 20lbs and lost 22lbs within 3 weeks of having my baby.

Exercising during pregnancyalso helps you speed and ease delivery.  Isn’t that the best news you’ve gotten all day?  My labor was less than 4 hours and I pushed for about 10 minutes.  Thank goodness for those workouts.  Check out what this woman said about my Pregnancy Fit-Mom Workouts.

I can’t wait for you to get this Nutrition Guide, the recipes are amazing, and there are so many different options for snacks. You are going to love it.  Download it here (It’s totally FREE):  PREGNANCY NUTRITION GUIDE.

Ok, lets talk fashion!

MMF Pregnancy Fashion Tips

1.  Months 1-5 (when you are not really showing), wear flowy shirts.

2.  During months 1-5, try to wear solid color shirts that are not too busy.

3.  Months 1-5, don’t buy maternity clothes.  Go to your favorite trendy (not expensive) store and get a few pairs of shorts, leggins, etc in a few sizes up.

4.  Do not ever wear shirts that are so long they cover your butt, this will only make you look wider.

5.  Once you are showing, no more flowy shirts.

6.  Once you are showing wear tight shirts.  Shirts that are rouched on the sides look great.

7.  Don’t cover yourself all up just because you are pregnant.  Show off that belly, show off those legs.  The hubby’s usually like the added voluptuousness in the hips and butt area 🙂

8.  Pregos look super cute and HOT in shorts.

9.  Get a ton of racerback tank tops in all kinds of solid colors and get a few nice long necklaces.  You can wear the tops with necklace with a pair of cute caqui or navy or white shorts, with jeans, etc.

10.  Get a few pairs of linen type pants that are foldable at the waist (not maternity), just get bigger sizes.  These look cute with a racerback tank and a long necklace.  You can find these as shorts as well and they are super comfy.

11.  Heels make any girl look better.  Whenever you are up to it, throw on those heels and strut that belly!

12.  Invest in a few cocktail type dresses (not maternity).  Go to your favorite boutique (not expensive), and buy a a few fitted dresses that you could wear on a date night or night out with friends.  Black is always great.  I would get tons of compliments when I wore a tight dress and heels and I won’t lie, it made me feel pretty good.

13.  Accesorize!  Just because you are pregnant doesn’t mean you have to be a mess.  You can still be trendy, and cute and hot.  Put some nice earring on and bangles.  Long necklaces are great!

14.  The one piece of clothing I recommend to get maternity is a good pair of jeans. You will wear these a ton so I would invest in a good pair that is flattering.  I actually bought 2.  One that I could wear with flats and one with heels.

15.  Wedges are great. They are comfortable enough but give you the height so that you feel sexier with your belly.  I wore wedges all the time, I rarely wore flats unless I was in workout clothes and sneakers.  And my hubby loved for me to wear heels and wedges with my belly.

I hope you enjoy this Pregnancy Fashion Tips.
