Morning sickness can be debilitating.
Especially with the regular fatigue that comes with pregnancy.
I got a little morning sickness in my 2nd pregnancy and I applied these 2 tips I’m about to give you and I was a different human.
It helped so much.
I share these tips more in depth in this video, if you rather watch or listen to it while driving, cooking, running errands, showering, etc.. you can do that instead.
Causes of Morning Sickness
There are 2 causes of morning sickness.
- Depletion of Vitamin B.
- Stomach empties.
Depletion of Vitamin B
This happens because the body is in a state of stress because its working so hard to create and sustain the pregnancy and environment for the baby to grow in.
Pregnancy is hard on the body.
Your body is working on over drive and when that happens you cortisol levels are high and you use up all your B vitamins.
This depletion in Vitamin B is a huge culprit in nausea and morning sickness.
This is happens when you haven’t eaten in several hours and your stomach is empty. This could cause nausea even when not pregnant, so even more so when pregnant.
This is why it’s so important when pregnant, to not let yourself get hungry.
This is why I’m always telling you to be prepared and prep healthy snacks that you can have readily available and good for on the go.
This is also why I encourage you to have mPower.

How To Get Rid of Morning Sickness
- A good quality Vitamin B
- Eat every 2-3 hours + try to eat throughout the night.

I have found that through the night eating really makes a difference and really helps get rid of the morning sickness.
See the night time, while you sleep is the longest you go without eating.
Your stomach is definitely empty when you wake up which is why you feel the most sick then.
What helped me was I would make a healthy snack like my oatmeal pancakes or oatmeal muffins and place them on my night table and every time I got up to go to the bathroom which was about 3-5 times a night… I would have a bite.
When I started doing this…. I never felt sick again in the morning.
IT WAS LIFE CHANGING.
