It was at my Uncle’s house following my Grandmother’s funeral this past October that I knew something needed to change. What I needed to do would be life altering and the most incredible challenge, but forever rewarding! It was a video my family and close friends viewed showing a Spring Break trip my brother and I took to visit my Grandmother who lived in Florida. I was in college and struggling with eating issues at an early age. My Grandmother was putting the sheets on the bed for my brother and looked at him and said, “What is your sister eating these days???” She was whispering so I wouldn’t hear. This must have been an ongoing discussion between them. His response was the clincher for me – “I don’t know, I think it’s Nutrisystem.” That’s just it, I was forever on a diet – always trying a new program. Looking for a way to cheat the system.

These programs I tried were very easy for me to deal with because I never had to think. I had all the meals lined up in front of me and had to select which box looked the best. They even had dessert every night. It was always eating on my own where there was ever an issue. Working out was always something I enjoyed, but weight training was never incorporated properly into my daily life enough to make a difference.

Then, I got an e-mail from a friend about participating in a fitness challenge last January. It was a challenge in which a commitment to change my lifestyle had to be made. I hesitantly went and listened to Billy and other trainers from his gym speak and I had to make a decision whether to sign up and be committed.

The decision to train with Michelle was one of the most profound experiences of my life. I must say, I was hesitant at first because I knew the work that was going to be involved, but the rewards have been overwhelming. I was always trying to have muscle tone and because of the way I ate, I was never able to accomplish this goal. I have finally encountered the reality of my battle with food and I know what I should be eating to get my body to look the way I want it to. I have already lost over 6 lbs of fat and over 4% body fat in only 6 weeks. Although it is still an ongoing process, Michelle has given me the push I needed and the tools to work with in order to meet my goals. Every time things go South, I know that Michelle is a phone call or text away and will keep me in line. She is always checking in on me. The best part of my training program is that it has become a way of life for me. Michelle has taught me that I can live my life and enjoy as long as I keep my self in line a majority of the time. My family has been inspired by the changes I have made and my cousin was so impressed she started a fitness challenge at her own gym in NJ and even came in second place.

I am very grateful that I went to the seminar last January and I am fortunate to have a trainer like Michelle and a gym like BB3 to continue to inspire me and keep me on track.
