These “before” pictures were taken in the Summer 2008. My 40th birthday was approaching, and I was really feeling lousy about myself. My cholesterol was WAY high. I couldn’t do 5 push-ups. I couldn’t run 20 yards. I looked terrible. Basically, I was a mess.

So for the first time in my life I decided to make a true commitment to being healthy, being fit, and feeling better.

I decided my birthday gift to myself would be to join BB3, and start training with Michelle Diaz. My wife Jen had been training with Michelle for a couple years with excellent results, and I knew how highly Jen thought of Michelle.

As soon as we started, I could tell whatever commitment I thought would be necessary, wasn’t even close. Michelle’s programs are very intense and very rigorous, both in and out of the gym and it takes a lot more mental and physical strength than I anticipated. But just like any great coach or teacher, Michelle motivates me to do more than I think I can; and more importantly, I am doing it with enthusiasm.

Even though the improvement is evident, you can bet that Michelle will not let me rest on this. She’s pushing even harder now, and I’m still working hard to get even better.

I never could have accomplished what I have accomplished thus far without Michelle Diaz. I got healthy, I feel great, and I’ve had a great time doing it. I can’t thank her enough for helping me accomplish my goals.
