After over 10 years working closely with pregnant women in my Fit Mom To Be Workout Program, I have found that one of the hardest meals to get in is breakfast.
Here are the reasons I have found:
- You are busy getting another child ready for school or day care.
- You are too busy getting yourself ready for work.
- You feel nauseous.
- You don’t have time.
- You have never really liked breakfast.
- You don’t know what to eat that is good for you and the baby.
- You don’t want to put on more weight so you figure you skip breakfast.
Let me tell you why you are making a huge mistake by skipping breakfast.
First of all, if you feel nauseous or have morning sickness, the reason is most likely because your stomach is empty and it’s making you sick.
I can’t tell you how many times I have helped ladies get rid of morning sickness by simply eating breakfast and eating small bites of healthy snacks during the night.

Also, food is fuel.
It gives you energy, so the simple act of eating breakfast can help you have way more energy.

Lastly, if you have a good and healthy breakfast, you will have less SUGAR CRAVINGS throughout the day.
Going too many hours without eating will give you LOW BLOOD SUGAR which makes you CRAVE SUGAR.
That is when you make “bad choices” and over eat.
Sooooooo not worth it.

Some are pre-made which will help you if you are in a rush in the morning because you can just heat them up 30 seconds and eat in the car.
The others don’t take long but you should eat them at home.

You can totally do this, don’t get overwhelmed.
There are a bunch that you can pre-make, none of them will take you more than 10-15 minutes to prep.
You can find one day of the week when you feel good and have time and energy and just make a few of them and leave them in the fridge or freezer.
The rest you can make daily.
