Guilt-Free Pasta & Veggies

So, you know that I am all about moderation and NO DEPRIVATION.

Which is why I like to come up with delicious, guilt-free pleasures like enjoying a bowl of pasta.  Well……… not an entire bowl, but a serving.

And with healthy recipes like this, you don’t have to feel bad about eating a little pasta.  This will satisfy your “pasta” “carb” craving and it will even be good for you.  Its a win-win!  The pasta I used is brown rice pasta so it is gluten-free and its also delicious.

What is great about a recipe like this is that it is versatile so you can add whatever veggies you want or even whatever “left over” veggies you have.  I chose to use ones that I wouldn’t have to spend extra time cooking.  So I just threw in some asparagus into the boiling pasta water a few minutes before it was done…..  and voila! You could do this with broccoli also.

I have a delicious recipe for an “alfredo” type sauce for pasta but its made with cauliflower.  How awesome is that?  The recipe is in my Eat To Be Fit Healthy Recipes Book.  So if you haven’t downloaded the E-Book Copy of my book yet, then do it now and have over 300 Healthy Recipes available INSTANTLY!

Here is the yummy recipe.

I made this a vegetarian meal.  I like to give my digestion a break sometimes and omit the protein.  But if you want to add protein, try adding in chunks of my Almond Crusted Chicken with Orange Balsamic Glaze.  I had left over’s of the chicken so for the next day, I added the chicken to the pasta for a delicious lunch!  You can find that recipe in My Pinterest Boards.  So make sure you are following them so that you can get all my Healthy Recipes.

And make sure to eat often.  Don’t skip meals or you will slow metabolism and miss out on burning tons of calories.  I hope you are making some of my healthy and gluten-free snacks from Pinterest, but if you aren’t you can try the healthy shortcut and try the DALE PROTEIN BARS.  They are delicious, 100% natural ingredients (first time ever in a bar), no GMO’s, and organic.  Its amazing.  And the flavors are to die for.  Check them out here:  DALE PROTEIN BARS.
