Gluten-Free Healthy Rice Crispy Treats

I need you to stop everything and make these today.

Seriously…. THAT good 🙂

And to top it off, I added chocolate chips to them and added protein to them.

These are going to blow your mind or your taste buds lol.

You know me, and if you don’t, you will start getting to know that I LOVE ALL THINGS CHOCOLATE.

As healthy as I like and enjoy to eat, and as important as health and fitness is to me, I need to have some chocolate in my life.

So what I do, is I make sure to always make some sort of a batch of chocolate something.

Which is probably why you see a lot of healthy chocolate muffins, cookies, cakes, etc on my blog. Here’s a recipe for you to try if you love chocolate too.

But the weird thing is, that as long as I have a healthy chocolate anything in my house, I eat so much better.

I binge eat less, I crave less, I eat smaller portions and I am better overall.

I have learned that is one trick to helping me stay on track.

The minute I want something sweet or chocolate or I’m hungry and I don’t have something pre-made, I eat crap or overeat at the next meal.

I am sooooo excited for you to try these Chocolate Chip Protein Rice Crispy Treats.

You should have everything you need for this except 2 ingredients.

You probably don’t have the brown rice puff cereal and you may not have mPower.

But you can order both online or get the cereal when you go to the grocery store next.

You can grab the mPower protein powder here: mPower Protein Powder.

mPower is protein powder specifically formulated for pregnancy and breastfeeding.

It was created with a doctor and it’s not only the most delicious protein powder you have EVER tried…. but it also counts as your prenatal.

And an added plus is it has all the B vitamins which helps with nausea and morning sickness, also helps with energy and if weight gain is a problem…

it helps with that because it helps combat cortisol which is normally high during pregnancy because we aren’t sleeping enough, not quality sleep, we are under stress…

and when cortisol is high, it makes it easier to gain BELLY FAT…
And what preggo needs more belly fat? lol

Did I mention how delicious it is?

It also has prebiotics, probiotics and digestive enzymes…
So, if you normally get gassy and bloated and constipated from protein powders… this is a game changer.
Plus, digestion affects weight gain and weight loss.

When you fix digestion… it’s easier to not pile on the pounds because you can burn fat more effectively… and digestive enzymes and probiotics will help with that.
Did, I tell you that its insanely good and also helps crush cravings?

  7. Place in the refrigerator for at least an hour.

Optional: If you want a crispier and nuttier taste, place the cereal on a baking sheet or toaster oven and toast for few minutes until golden brown and crispy. Do this before adding the syrup mixture.
