Is there anything better than enjoying what feels like an indulgence…….. but without the guilt.

I think there is nothing better!

When you can eat super healthy and NOT feel like you are on a DIET, then you will be able to be more consistent with your healthy eating.  And if you are more consistent, then you will get better results and most importantly, MAINTAIN them.

Do Diets Work?

Too often people do these DIETS in an attempt to lose weight but they are so deprived and so miserable that the 5-25lbs they lose in a few months, they end up gaining right back…… and MORE!

This is why I am on a mission to show people how to cook healthy but yummy and how to eat often and eat a variety of different foods.  I love food and I hate hate hate to eat the same foods and meals over and over.  It just makes me feel like I’m on a DIET.  And when I feel like I’m on a diet, I actually do worse!

Food…. Diet, is the main reason people do not see weight loss.

From my own personal experience as well as 2 decades of experience working with all types of people, I find the lack of results comes from people eating the wrong foods as well as lack of consistency with their diet plans for the same reason we just discussed.  People try to “diet”, deprive themselves too much, and then can’t stick to it long enough to see results.

I know that having a plan really helps me.  

Actually, its definitely what has helped me take control of my eating and be able to finally see my abs and be in the best shape of my life (and maintain it).

Don’t Eat This Anymore & Lose Weight

So the first thing I want to do is give you a list of the foods you should take out of your diet….. like TODAY!  These are foods that are super inflammatory and though some may think are “healthy”, they are not and they could be the culprit for your lack or weight loss or results.

Inflammation in the digestive track makes it incredibly hard if not impossible to burn fat. So in order to be able to burn fat so you can lose weight effectively, its crucial that you take these foods out of your diet.

It’s Ok To Be A Chocolate Lover

Now if you haven’t been following me for a while, I must admit right off the bat that I am a CHOCOLATE LOVER.  I love anything with chocolate in it and if I was told I couldn’t eat chocolate again I think I would die.  LOL.  No, seriously, I would not be very happy.  

I hate depriving myself of things I love anyhow, so I have found ways to still indulge in chocolate without the guilt, without the yukky calories, sugar and fat.

So I am always testing and trying new recipes that I love sharing with you.  So you will notice that a lot of my recipes for healthy snacks do have chocolate in them.

Being Prepared

Something else that will really help you is being prepared.

As you probably know, you have to eat every few hours a small healthy meal in order to speed metabolism and be able to burn fat and lose weight.

It can be hard to cook and eat very 3 hours.  Especially if you work.

So taking the time on the weekends or when you have an extra hour to prep for the whole week.  

That’s what I do.  And its the only way I can be consistent, get results and never feel deprived and on a diet.

I make meal plans weekly, like I literally write them down, I make shopping lists weekly, I go to the grocery store once a week to get everything I need for my meal plan and I cook 2 times a week.  That’s it.

I also wake up at 4am, train clients in the mornings, have a growing online business that takes A LOT of my time and I have a one year old and a 5 year old.  So I AM BUSY!  But if I can do it, so can you!

Listen, if you don’t have the time to do this every week or you just maybe don’t even know how to put a healthy meal plan that will help you lose weight and not feel on a diet, I get it.  It’s taken me years to figure it out.

These Fudgy Chocolate Protein Muffins are a great example and you won’t even believe what the secret ingredient it. But you have to try them.  They are crazy yummy and gluten-free and super low in sugar!

Fudgy Chocolate Protein Muffins

  • 15-ounce can black beans, rinsed and drained “secret ingredient”
  • 1/4 cup agave nectar or Stevia to taste
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/3 cup coconut oil, melted
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened organic cocoa powder
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 34 tbsp chocolate chips gluten and dairy free (I use Dream)
  • 34 tbsp shredded coconut
  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder (Prograde)


  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Meanwhile in a food processor, place all the ingredients except the chocolate chips and coconut.
  3. Once well incorporated and blended, fold in the chocolate chips and shredded coconut.
  4. Place batter in a coconut oil sprayed muffin pan and bake for ~ 15-18 minutes or until done.


These are so good, you won’t even believe how healthy they are.  

And remember, in order to SPEED METABOLISM so that you can burn calories all day long and lose weight and get lean, you have to eat every 3-4 hours.  This is very hard if you are not PREPARED with healthy snacks like this that by the way are GLUTEN-FREE.
