I always say that being prepared is the KEY to getting great results…….
And it is!
What happens when you have breakfast, go to work and 4 hours later you are starving but don’t have a healthy option available with you?
Well, most likely you will grab a few pieces of chocolate or candy from someones desk, or you will grab a cookie or donut from the vending machine or you will run out for something quick and easy.….. which is usually not healthy.
When you are not PREPARED, you tend to make poor eating choices.
Because normally when you get hungry, you have low blood sugar. Guess what your body NEEDS in order to sustain life at that time? Guess what your body is craving? YUP, SUGAR!
That is why it’s so hard to have WILL POWER and make healthy choices at that point. But if you carry healthy snacks with you at all times and you eat before you get “Starving”, then it is much easier to stay clean and on track.
That’s why I give you healthy snack recipes every week. So make sure you are “following” all My Pinterest Boards, because all the healthy snack recipes are on there.
That is why also, I wrote my Eat To Be Fit Healthy Recipes Book. To give people tons of options of healthy recipes that are easy and delicious. It’s important to ENJOY eating healthy, because if you don’t, chances are you won’t stick with it for too long, which will basically make you a yo-yo dieter. I give you over 300 healthy and easy recipes to play with. They are all amazingly yummy and healthy. Like my Raspberry Balsamic Chicken… YUM…
These protein cookies that I made are so yummy. They are chocolaty and nutty all at the same time. Chocolate and nuts, doesn’t get better than that. And they are gluten-free and full of protein.

- 1 cup almond meal (I use Bob’s Red Mill)
- 1 cup oat flour (I use Bob’s Red Mill)
- 1 cup oats (I use Bob’s Red Mill gluten-free)
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 5 Stevia packets
- 2 eggs
- 1/3 cup coconut oil, melted
- 1/2 tsp almond extract
- 1 scoop vanilla protein powder (I use BB3 Formula 1)
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
- Meanwhile, whisk the eggs with the extract and cooled coconut oil.
- Then add all the dry ingredients, mixing well.
- Use a melon scooper or small ice cream scooper to place little scoops on a parchment paper lined baking sheet.
- Bake for about 15 minutes or until done.
I hope you try these. They are so yummy and so easy to make. And they are easy to just throw 4-5 in a little plastic bag and take them on the go. Remember, the trick is to eat before you get hungry. Try to eat every 3 hours. If you do this, you will never have “cravings”. It will be much easier to have will power and stick to your diet or nutrition plan.
So grab my recipe book or a cooking magazine or browse online for some healthy and delicious recipes so that you can make them and always be prepared.
