Apple-Cinnamon Bites

Apple-Cinnamon Bites

Most people know that in order to “Speed Metabolism” (burn calories all day long), you have to eat every few hours.  But with our hectic and busy schedules, who has time to cook every 3 hours.

The good news is you don’t have to!

But you do have to PLAN & PREP.  And if you do, you will have plenty of food available for you to eat every 3 hours and be burning calories all day long.  And what is even better is that you will actually be enjoying the food you eat versus eating bland and boring “diet food”.

That is why I have a Pinterest Board full of Healthy Snack Recipes & Healthy Meal Recipes.  Because if you can enjoy eating healthy, then you will be more consistent which in the end will get you better results.

These Apple-Cinnamon Bites are so delicious, you are going to love them.  I think I love them just as much as my Banana Protein Muffins from My Eat To Be Fit Healthy Recipes Book, which is one of my favorite healthy snack recipes.  By the way you can dowload it now and have over 300 healthy recipes… immediately!

And these Apple-Cinnamon Bites are gluten-free which is a plus!

I hope you enjoy them as much as I do!  Invest the time into cooking and you will see the results in your body.

Apple-Cinnamon Bites

  • Author: Michelle Marie

  • 1 cup quinoa flakes
  • 1 cup gluten-free oats (I use Bob’s Red Mill)
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg
  • 3 tbsp coconut sugar, brown sugar or 3 packets Stevia
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup apple, chopped
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder (I use BB3 Formula 1)

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Mix all the ingredients in a large bowl, except the apples.
  3. Fold in the apples and nuts at the end and place in a muffin pan.
  4. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until done.

I’m telling you, its worth to spend some time in the kitchen prepping and having food available.  It will help you eat cleaner, prevent cravings, help you burn calories all the time and enjoy the process of getting fit.

Let me know if you try these.  I love hearing from you!  Just go on My Facebook Page and post the picture of the food or your comments.  Play around with the recipe, feel free to add or take away.
