I am 42 years old, and a mother of two boys, ages 14 and 10. I have never been a “gym person” – I was always active, but never really loved the gym and just did what I needed to do to stay in decent shape. But now, being over 40 with two active, athletic sons and a husband in great physical shape, staying fit needed to become more of a focus and a priority.
My husband, Marc, started training at BB3 Training Center early last year. I resisted the change at first, but with his persistent encouragement I finally decided last summer to give it a try.
I have trained since that time with both Michelle Diaz and Diana Levy. Michelle designs a nutrition and exercise program to keep me challenged and motivated, and the work-outs with Michelle and Diana push me to the limit each time.
Then, just as my confidence in the gym began to develop, along came the BB3 Lean and Mean Challenge. I had never made a commitment to anything like this before, and probably would not have done it now either without the encouragement of Michelle, Diana and, of course, Marc! The challenge was a perfect way to find some extra motivation to make a meaningful change. When I started, I really didn’t know how much of a change was realistic – you see advertisements in magazines that show these dramatic changes in people over a short period of time, but do you really believe them? Now that the challenge is over, I am amazed at what I was able to accomplish in the 12 weeks. I feel better than ever! I am so glad that I took on the challenge! The experience has certainly changed my outlook on diet, exercise, and my ability to make a real change in my fitness level.
I have lost 10 lbs of PURE FAT, 17.5 inches throughout my whole body and an amazing 6.5% BODY FAT, in only 12 weeks!!!
This was a great start…I can only imagine what they have in store for me next!
