I partly blame the doctors for not educating pregnant women on the incredibly huge importance of a healthy diet while pregnant.

Remember that everything you are consuming, your baby is getting.

You could prevent so many issues and diseases and complications by just following a good nutrition.

I ate super healthy during my pregnancies and I only gained 20 lbs in each. But that isn’t the best part. The best part is that I enjoyed pregnancy, I never felt super uncomfortable, I had a fast labors (4 hrs and 2 hrs, respectively). And I lost all my baby weight in less than a month.

One of the main reasons why you want to focus on a good nutrition during pregnancy is to ensure that you give your baby all the nutrients that he or she needs.
Which is why I wanted to share this yummy and easy recipe with you.
I know that sometimes you may feel sick or have morning sickness and that it may be hard to eat healthy, but smoothies are super easy to get down and they are actually refreshing and from my experience, even women with major food aversions have been able to take these down.
So it’s good to have some healthy and nutrient rich smoothie recipes to change up and have on a daily basis.

This smoothie is rich in superfoods which will be amazing for you and the baby.

Superfoods Pregnancy Smoothie
- 8oz Almond or coconut milk
- 1/3 cup frozen or fresh blueberries and strawberries
- 1/4 frozen banana
- 1 cup spinach or kale
- 1 tbsp chia seeds
- 1/4 cup plain Greek yogurt
- Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.
- If you don't have a banana frozen, add a little ice until desired consistency.
- You can substitute any fresh or frozen fruit you have.
I have my single cup blender from Oster that I love and I would use it daily to make my superfoods pregnancy smoothies all throughout my pregnancy.
