Everyone seems to be trying to eat GLUTEN-FREE, and I don’t blame them. Honestly, I am not gluten intolerant but I try to eat mostly Gluten-free.
Well, here is my thinking……… If there are diseases that are caused by this food (celiac disease), I certainly don’t want to eat it. There are people that are autistic that are put on Gluten-Free Diets and get significantly better. So, why eat it anyways.
Also, gluten is a high inflammatory food for the gut and if you have inflammation in the gut, it is hard to burn fat effectively.
I don’t know about you but with all the great foods out this day that are gluten-free and with all the great recipes (like this one) and great natural foods that don’t have gluten, I don’t think it is a big loss to omit gluten from my diet.
Before I give you the recipe, I just want to give you some tips that will help you if you are trying to lose weight, get leaner, get more definition, feel more energy, get healthier, and more toned.
Because it’s not just about cooking even though it’s a big part of it.
Five Foods to Avoid Eating
I have found that a lot of people are “STUCK” with their weight loss because they are eating some of the wrong foods.
So I have to make sure you are not eating one or more of foods on this list. Because if you are, it can be completely SABOTAGING your results.
Yes, it can totally be true that you can be working your butt off at the gym 6 days a week, eating super healthy (as you think), but if you are eating one or more of these foods, you will NOT BE ABLE TO LOSE WEIGHT.
The reason is because these foods though some may think are healthy or not so bad, are actually very inflammatory.
Inflammation in the digestive track makes it incredibly hard if not impossible to burn fat.
So in order to be able to burn fat so you can lose weight effectively, its crucial that you take these foods out of your diet.

Healthy Snack Recipe: Blueberry Protein Cake
- 3/4 cup egg whites
- 6 tbsp Vanilla Protein powder (I used BB3 Formula 1)
- 3 tbsp coconut flour
- 3 tbsp unsweetened apple sauce
- 3 tsp vanilla extract
- 3-4 stevia packets
- 1/2 cup freeze dried blueberries.
- Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. Mix all ingredients except the berries in a big bowl and incorporate well. Fold in the berries and pour into 3-4 ramekins and bake for about 27 minutes or until golden brown and cooked inside.
