Healthy Crockpot Lean Steak

This is by far my favorite lean steak recipe.

It literally takes less than 5 minutes to put together and its so yummy.

My entire family loves it.

Healthy Crockpot Lean Steak

  1. 2 lbs Flank Steak
  2. 1/2 onion, diced
  3. 1/2 red pepper, diced
  4. 4 garlic cloves, minced
  5. 1 tbsp each of thyme, oregano, and cumin
  6. 2 bay leaves
  7. 1/2 can crushed tomatoes
  8. 1- 8 oz can tomato sauce
  9. salt and pepper to taste
  1. Place the onions, peppers and garlic in the crockpot and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  2. Layer the steak on top and add all the spices, salt and pepper taste.
  3. Pour the crushed tomatoes and tomato sauce, mix around, cover.
  4. Put the crockpot on low for ~ 8 hours or high for ~ 4 hours.
