Ground Turkey Veggie Scramble Recipe
One of the reasons I am always cooking and testing and creating new recipes is because I can’t stand to eat the same thing all the time.
Eating the same thing all the time makes me feel like “I’m on a diet”.
When I feel like I’m on a diet, I actually do worse with my diet.
Pretty crazy, but it’s true.
When I don’t really think about it much and I just make the best possible choices from meal to meal, I do so much better.
I think it’s because it doesn’t become “an obsession”.
I feel like people these days are OBSESSED with clean eating, dieting, losing weight, and exercise. It has become an obsession and not a lifestyle.
It takes all the fun out of it.
I love food.
I enjoy eating and I would never want to do anything to harm the healthy relationship that I have with food. So I put in some work, just like you would in any relationship.
I’m always looking for new recipes, testing new recipes, making meal plans, prepping food, cooking, etc.
I make sure to always make and eat foods that I enjoy and love.

I always say that being prepared is the key to my success, and it is.
It’s what helps me eat clean so consistently.
I make a meal plan for the week every single week. And I make it on the same day of the week every week. And I make my grocery list at the same time and I do my groceries for the week every week on the same day.

Doing things on a recurring basis helps me be more consistent which in turn helps me really make it a “lifestyle”. It’s just what I do.
Healthy Meal Plan
I know that having a plan really helps me.
Actually, its definitely what has helped me take control of my eating and be able to finally see my abs and be in the best shape of my life (and maintain it).
So, I’m going to hook you up and give you a Meal Plan for the month.

I just know that this is the key to controlling your eating, so I want to help you. You are going to love the recipes and meals and don’t worry, they are all super easy to make.
One of the things that I do when creating my weekly meal plans is to make sure there is a good mix of foods. I hate to eat chicken 6 times a week. So I will make sure there is for example:
2 Chicken Dish
1 Turkey Dish
1 Lean Steak Dish
This is just an example. I just make sure to mix it up so that I don’t feel like I’m on a diet eating darn chicken and broccoli all week long.
I also make sure to have quinoa one day and brown rice another and beans another and I vary the types of veggies I cook too.
I make the best combinations of foods that will help accelerate metabolism so you can burn more fat. I find the yummiest recipes so you never feel like you are dieting but can lose weight, and I vary them every week so that you don’t get bored and not be consistent and we all know that consistency is the key to getting results.
I also give my MMF Healthy Meal Planners the shopping lists just to make it easier on them. Most of the ladies that do this program just don’t have the time to do all of this every week, nor do they know the right combinations of foods to get the best results. And they tell me that they just can’t do this consistently week after week. So I did everything possible to make it easy for them.
And so far they love it and they lose 2-6 lbs per week, its crazy!
Here are a few of my favorites (you can find all these recipes on My Pinterest Page where you can find all my healthy recipes nice and organized by categories).
I mean, there are some staples that I make weekly because my family likes them. For example, my kids like broccoli and asparagus so since veggies are harder for kids to eat and they like those, I make sure to make them every week.
You get the point?
Well, ground turkey is one of those foods that it’s hard to make in different ways. So I am always trying new ground turkey recipes because there are only so many meatballs and meatloaves I can handle.
I love making these “Ground Turkey Scrambles”.
I make them all the time but using different veggies and seasonings.
They are super easy to make and super yummy.
This one is so yummy and I love them because it’s an easy way to sneak in some veggies for the kids.
By the way, before I give you the recipe, I just want to give you some tips that will help you with your weight loss and fitness goals.
Because it’s not just about cooking even though it’s a big part of it.
I have found that a lot of people are “STUCK” with their weight loss because they are eating some of the wrong foods.
Don’t Eat These Foods
So I have to make sure you arenot eating one or more of foods on this list. Because if you are, it can be completely SABOTAGING your results. Yes, it can totally be true that you can be working your butt off at the gym 6 days a week, eating super healthy (as you think), but if you are eating one or more of these foods, you will NOT BE ABLE TO LOSE WEIGHT.The reason is because these foods though some may think are healthy or not so bad, are actually very inflammatory.
Inflammation in the digestive track makes it incredibly hard if not impossible to burn fat. So in order to be able to burn fat so you can lose weight effectively, its crucial that you take these foods out of your diet.

Ok, here is the recipe.
- 2 lbs lean ground turkey
- ½ onion, chopped
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 zucchini, chopped
- 1 cup edamame, thawed and shelled
- 1 can diced tomatoes
- Drizzle of Balsamic glaze
- S&P to taste
- Low sodium chicken stock for cooking
- In a skillet with a little stock on medium heat, cook the onions, garlic and zucchini.
- Season with S&P to taste and add turkey.
- Cook until browned, adding a little stock if necessary.
- Once browned, add the diced tomatoes and season again with S & P.
- Fold in the edamame and drizzle the whole skillet with balsamic glaze.
- Mix well and serve!
And it is soooooo yummy! And I love that there are so many veggies in it. You could also add some spinach, that would be great in there too.
