I have always been a person who included fitness in her life. As a young girl, I took gymnastics and as I got older, I played team sports and was a cheerleader. In fact, my first high school job was working the front desk at Gold’s Gym! That is when my desire to be fit and healthy really began. I have always been a fit person, however it was not until recently that I have achieved a level of fitness that I have never been able to achieve before. In fact, as a 34 year old woman with 2 kids, I am in the best shape of my life!!! I owe this all to Michelle and her unbelievable knowledge of diet, exercise and her ability to motivate. Michelle and BB3 have truly changed my life!!
My husband and I joke that before I started to train with Michelle, I was a “skinny fat person.” Yes, I was thin, but not lean. Since I started with Michelle, I have lost over 7% body fat!!! I have lost 8.7lbs of FAT, How unbelievable!! For years, I was exercising (pilates, running, and spinning) but without the results. Training with Michelle and being apart of this challenge has motivated me to reach and attain levels of fitness I never thought possible! I look in the mirror now and see a person who is strong in both body and mind. I look in the mirror and find more positives than negatives about my body. I wear clothing with a new found confidence and have enjoyed having to shop for all new bottoms because my old pants are all too big!! I have learned so much and realize now that for so many years I was approaching fitness all wrong. Iwas not eating enough and certainly not enough of the right foods. With Michelle’s help I have completely changed my eating habits and I do not feel deprived at all. In fact, eating well gives me more energy and less desire to eat badly!
Enrolling in the 12 week challenge was fantastic! I challenged myself to work hard to attain the best results in a short period of time. This challenge taught me how to prioritize my life and make time for myself, not just for my husband and children. I have always been a person who thrives on challenge and this was no different. I jumped in head first and went all out. It was by no means easy. I did have some “bad days”, but those days kept me grounded and made me want to do even better. It is wonderful to realize that I am able to do whatever it is that I set my mind to. This challenge is proof positive of that.
