The Best Home-Made “Healthy” Chocolate Chip Cookies
I used to have a “favorite” healthy cookie, but I think this one just took its place.
And its so healthy and so good for you, that I can’t even believe myself how good it is.
I made these and took them out on our boat ride this weekend, and while everyone munched on “crap”….. excuse my language…… I felt great about eating my “healthy” cookies. Actually, I didn’t even feel like I was missing out on what the others were eating because I was enjoying myself so much.
And that, my friend, is the trick to getting long lasting results…….. Not feeling deprived, but being able to eat healthy consistently and enjoy it without the need to BINGE.

Blueberry-Chip Gluten-Free Cookies
1 cup fresh blueberries
1/2 cup almond butter
1 1/2 cups almond flour
3 tbsp agave nectar
1 tbsp cinnamon
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 tsp baking soda
2-3 tbsp dairy and gluten free chocolate chips
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Meanwhile, In a small saute pan, cook the blueberries for a few minutes until juicy, plump and almost melted. Then place all the ingredients in a food processor except the chocolate chips. Pulse well to incorporate, fold in the chips and place in a parchment paper lined baking dish and bake for ~14 minutes.
I’m telling you, you have to try these. These are probably my all time favorite healthy cookie. And just look at the ingredients…… Nothing bad in them.
They are a great way to keep your metabolism going and burning calories all day long. Remember, skipping meals slows metabolism. Eat often and you will have the recipe for burning calories all day long.
I know that cooking 5-6 meals a day is unrealistic, so invest the time into making some healthy snack recipes like this that are gluten-free and super healthy and it will save you tons of time.
