Pregnancy is a beautiful thing if you are healthy and feel good.   But for most women, they don’t exercise nor eat healthy.   So most women end up hating being pregnant.  And it is really a shame.    


Today, I’m going to share with you my favorite pregnancy core exercises in hopes that it will inspire and encourage you to exercise during pregnancy.

That is why I am always trying to inspire pregnant women to workout.  Because the rewards far outweigh the time and effort you invest into it.    


That is why I made it to the NEWS to talk about PREGNANCY FITNESS & NUTRITION.   By the way….  Check out some of tips and guidelines for exercise during pregnancy:  Exercise during Pregnangy Tips.   Anyhow, some of the biggest misconceptions about pregnancy and exercise is whether you can do core or abs exercises.   And though you should absolutely get clearance from your OB GYN, for the most part you can.  And if he clears you, then check out My Pinterest Board For Pregnancy Workouts & Nutrition to get tons of workouts, healthy recipes, nutrition guidelines, exercises and more.   You’re going to love it.  


I know you are probably a little frustrated like most pregnant women, because your OB hasn’t educated you much on Pregnancy Nutrition. It’s actually quite frustrating for me… Aside from giving you a list of foods you should NOT eat, and weighing you in every week, that is pretty much it.  And it’s insane because what you eat doesn’t just affect YOU!   It affects the baby as well.





Pregnancy Nutrition Tips



Its very easy to say “you have to slow down with your weight gain”, but not give you any tools or resources to help you. But you have to control what you eat and not use this pregnancy as an excuse to “Eat For 2”.  


I mean you don’t by any means have to diet.  I certainly didn’t and I did allow myself some splurges.  I would eat a bagel a week which I normally don’t when I’m not pregnant, I usually stick to oatmeal which I love.  But you just have to make GOOD CHOICES.  You should want to anyways because everything you are eating now is affecting your little baby.  So make good choices girlfriend.


So here is what I’m going to do for you.  


I’m going to give you a NUTRITION GUIDE with exactly what to eat, all the RECIPES, good SNACKpregnancy-core-exercises OPTIONS, etc.

You can add these pregnancy exercises to your workouts about 2-3 times per week.  


Go at your own pace and do as many reps as you can.    


There aren’t a ton of safe core pregnancy exercises, but there are a few really good ones.


I put at least one safe core pregnancy exercise in all my workouts in my Fit Mom To Be Pregnancy Workout Program.

Really, my friend, working the core safely during pregnancy will literally transform you after pregnancy. You will regret not doing so when you are 5 months postpartum and still look 5 months pregnant.
